Medication Not Your Type of Solution for Behavior?
Yes, you can also change your child’s behavior with movement.
“I’ve done the first movement for a few days and already he’s calmer.” Carrie, mom of 4-year old.
7 Steps to Calm is a seven-week on-demand program needing only minutes a day for specific movements to help calm your child and restore peace at home.
Who is the program for?
Families with children ages 4-10 whose behavior is challenging, or whose development may have some challenges. (Younger and older children will benefit but may need special adaptations.)
What does the program help with?
Reorganizing the body to support calming, self-regulation, sensory processing, coordination, and the physical aspects supporting communication.
What is involved in doing the program?
There are seven movements over seven weeks. Each relaxing movement takes 1-2 minutes daily. Although the recommendation is to do just two movements each week, you can do more if you have time, and your child enjoys them.
When does the program start?
You get the first lesson right now. Once you sign-up, the next weekly lesson will begin Saturday, April 17th. The next lesson will become available each week on Saturday.
How will the program be accessed?
Access the weekly lessons at a time convenient to you. Each lesson is 7-9 minutes long. You also have unlimited access to the lessons once done with the program.
What is included:
- An overview video for the program (8 min)
- An optional video explaining the common reasons a child may be off track (9 min)
- Seven weekly lessons (7-9 min)
- One virtual coaching session to use at your discretion by the end of the program (30 min). Ask about unique considerations your child, or next steps.
- An online community to ask questions and share observations as you go. (Using the app Slack)
