Sobbing or acting out? Growth may be the culprit
The sun, warmth, and outdoors are the perfect catalysts for growth in your children.
With that growth comes two common challenges to being a parent — pain and dis-regulation.
As a parent, there is nothing more heart breaking to have a sobbing child in the middle of the night, “my legs hurt,” with little to offer for comfort other than Motrin.
Equally frustrating is the growing child who seems like they are out of control, going from zero to one hundred on the emotion scale in a nano-second.
At Kinetic Konnections we often find that these kids’ bodies are all out of sync from the stress of fast growth. In addition to lots of love and compassion, they benefit from a little help re-organizing their core, and as well as their legs.
Below you will find three videos which you will find useful in helping your kids. They feature easy, quick movements you can do anywhere, anytime to offer a little help to their growing, stressed muscles and bones.
What are other ways your growing child can be helped?
Does your child have pain that keeps them from sleeping? Does your child’s behavior seem hopelessly unpredictable? These are areas we are able to help get your kids back on track quickly. See below for scheduling options.
Please share these tips with others (grandchildren, nieces and nephews) whose growing presents a challenge from time-to-time.
